WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH LIVE AUDIO STREAMING?
Basically, with everyone listening to live streams on their own different devices, some people have good audio quality and others not. Also, nobody will have truly amazing audio quality because the sound engineer has to mix generically enough for it to sound at least "ok" on all devices, which means it won't be maximized for any particular device.
SO HOW DO WE ALL GET AFFORDABLE HIGH QUALITY AUDIO?
We have to get everyone using the same listening device, so that the sound engineer can mix the audio just perfectly for everyone. The device has to be cheap enough for everyone to afford, but not a total piece of junk that has no potential to sound good.
WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE SONY EX15LP HEADPHONES?
First, they're cheap and easy to get. Second, we picked them years ago out of a lineup of several inexpensive headphones... these sounded good enough "out of the box" to work with, and we've spent a lot of time and energy since then developing an audio processing suite to make them sound absolutely incredible.
WILL THEY WORK WITH ANY DEVICE I HAVE?
Yes, they will work with any device that can output audio to headphones with a "mini" style connector. This could be your laptop, phone, wireless device, anything!
WHY CAN'T I USE MY OWN HEADPHONES?
You can, but it won't sound right. The audio has been customized very specifically for the Sony EX15LP, like a prescription from a doctor. Even if your headphones are expensive and fancy, the sound will have serious tonal imballances that might ruin your experience.
CAN I APPLY ALPHA STREAM TO MY ONLINE CONTENT?
Absolutely! Contact us for information on how to get set up with our audio processing. Then, simply announce to your followers that they'll need to click on the link to get the headphones ahead of time.
CAN I USE ALPHA STREAM WITH ANY STREAMING PLATFORM?
Yes, we simply add processing to your audio feed, and then you upload it like normal. We can do this live, or in a prerecorded fashion.
